Yalding – Marlin Site
Yalding is a green field site, with access from the road or via the river and landing stage. Water and toilets available in nearby EA building. Pub & cafe also nearby and free parking on Hampstead Lane.
Halton Rapids
Halton Rapids is located on the River Lune, about a kilometre upstream of the M6 bridge, north west of Lancaster.
Holne Weir
This short strip of woodland alongside Holne Weir continues to provide a popular access point for paddlers enjoying the Dart Loop.
Broadway’s Meadow
On the banks of the River Soar in Leicestershire, Broadways Meadow enables the safe landing and launch for paddlers on one of East Midland’s most popular rivers.
Washburn
The River Washburn is a dam release river, paddleable only when Yorkshire Water release from Thusscross Reservoir. This creates 2km of fast flowing, moderate white water (Grade 2-3). There are a number of small features, including a small weir drop.
Hoarwithy
On the River Wye near the quiet village of Hoarwithy, this site is split into two fields with access to the road, enabling safe landing and launch for paddlers on one of the country’s most popular rivers, roughly halfway between Ross on Wye and Hereford.
